Hope for People with Diabetic Neuropathy

diabetic neuropathy video Unfortunately, diabetes is a common ailment in America. The type 2 version of this condition often leads to nerve damage in the legs and feet, resulting in pain and permanent wounds that sometimes necessitate amputation. Previously, medicine and treatment did little good for people with diabetic neuropathy pain, but now, thanks to a new prescription medical food product called Metanx, there is hope.

Recent studies have showed that this small purple pill, manufactured by Louisiana drug maker Pamlab LLC, is capable of treating and lessening some of the symptoms of diabetic neuropathy. With high doses of vitamin B, Metanx aims to increase blood flow in the lower extremities of type 2 diabetes sufferers so that their sensations be stronger. Numbness in feet and the legs is often a troubling first step toward amputation, so any help in fighting it off should be a welcome development for people with this condition.

There are still many unanswered questions, which is why more studies are planned in the near future. Researchers are looking for people in the area with diabetes who have nerve pain, numbness in feet, tingling and/or burning, and shooting and/or stabbing pains in their feet. These volunteers will be needed for a free study that takes place in January. Call 1-888-831-7333 for more information and to find out if you qualify.

If diabetic neuropathy pain is something that has affected your life, this is an opportunity to learn more about your condition and possibly improve your condition. You would also contribute to finding solutions that could help millions of other people who suffer from symptoms like yours.
